Sean Tyas joins an elite group of artists who have performed an Essential Mix, and a very select few from the trance scene, with the likes of Paul van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Markus Schulz and our very own Judge Jules and Richard Durand amongst the only names from the genre to have appeared in the past 12 months.

This is a further glowing endorsement of Sean's rapidly rising status, both as one of the hottest producers in dance music today, and as a globally recognised DJ name. Other recent accolades include a high New Entry placing in the DJ Magazine Top 100 poll at #54, 'One To Watch' features on Beatport and in M8 Magazine, plus numerous #1 chart positions for his tracks and remixes.

Sean makes full use of the two hour Essential Mix to showcase a devastating array of sounds from his studio, such as his trademark driving, euphoric trance sounds in the current hit single 'Melbourne' which recently charted at #1 on trance download sites, plus exclusive new material including 'I Remember Now' and his remix of the next Push single 'Interference'. He also takes the opportunity to explore other territory from right across the broadest spectrum of trance, whether it be the deeper sounds from his forthcoming release 'Seven Weeks' that's been snapped up by Sander van Doorn's ultra cool Doorn label, the tough tech bomb 'Rulebook' that's been signed to Discover Dark, plus a few unexpected surprises such as a Sean Tyas rework of ACDC!
