The
Already playing at many of the coolest venues, MDE offer three tiers of performance. As well as a straight DJ set, performed by Harry Diamond, the guys like to add an extra dimension to their sets with Dex‘n’FX using laptops and keyboards to synchronise electronic samples and distorted keyboard riffs into the DJ mix, creating a truly unique experience.
The boys are also developing a third tier to their programme to be seen at large events around the world in 2009. A full on festival show combining the Dex‘n’FX performance mentioned above with live vocalists, percussion, guitars and other instruments all being performed simultaneously on stage.
Their production is in a league of its own, placing them firmly at the forefront of the electronic music scene with several hits already in the bag. ‘Wasted’, due for re-release on Universal later this summer, has an all encompassing euphoric vibe with driving bassline, uplifting string climaxes and wistful vocals. Then there is the monster that is ‘Take Me With You’ with Prok and Fitch. On their own imprint MDE Records, massive tracks ‘Last Stand’ and ‘Flamenco Loco’ are due for release in the latter part of 2008 - all of which are being championed by the likes of Roger Sanchez, Sasha,
Along with their own production, Sony BMG and Ministry Of Sound are regularly calling them up for remixes which have already included Groove Armada’s 2007 hit “Song 4 Mutya”, Pink’s “Leave Me Alone”, plus Sony’s newest signings The Fashion, Madcon and Data’s Inhaler. All this together with their back catalogue featuring in several film and TV projects including cult show CSI Miami, proving the boys are just as in demand in the studio as they are on the dancefloor!
